So you have made the decision to invest money in purchasing a 3000w inverter to allow you to provide power to certain appliances in your RV. This type of inverter will be more than sufficient enough to allow you to run appliances such as a microwave or refrigerator as you travel.

But of course once you have made such a purchase you will then need to install it in your RV. You could of course arrange to have the 3000w inverter installed by a professional. Tip 1 - It is a good idea that when investing in your inverter you also invest in a "deep cycle heavy duty battery" that will provide it with the power it needs. This type of battery is designed to discharge large amounts of power over and over again and won't suffer the sort of damage that using a normal car battery would.

Tip 2 - The next thing you need to take into consideration is of course where you intend to mount the inverter.
